In this section you will find the governing documents for the Law Society of Prince Edward Island. A link is provided to the Legal Profession Act, a statute (law) of the province of Prince Edward Island. This is the governing legislation for the Law Society. There is also a link to the Regulations under the Legal Profession Act. The Regulations are created by Law Society as authorized by the Act, and amendments are published in the Royal Gazette.
Forms which are submitted to the Society by members and clerks are included.
The Code of Professional Conduct, and its additions, outline standards of professional responsibility for PEI lawyers and articled clerks.
